Located just 30 minutes southeast of Medicine Hat, our venue sits among rolling prairie landscapes, endless skies, and stunning sunsets. As a working ranch, The Fir & Prairie Barn offers an authentic Alberta experience and a peaceful setting away from the city. You will see cows in the distance and horses in the fields! 

Built from Two Roots

The name “Fir & Prairie” reflects our story. The prairie represents Ben’s Alberta roots, while the fir represents Patrice’s hometown in British Columbia. Some of the fir wood used in the barn was brought from Patrice’s hometown, making the space a true reflection of both our backgrounds and where we come from.
